How prices for products in the Astrakhan region have changed

In the Astrakhan region, vegetable prices changed most noticeably during the week from September 15 to 21. Onions fell by more than 7%, beets by almost 6%, the cost of carrots and potatoes decreased. Against this background, fresh tomatoes, on the contrary, added 2.71% to the price.
The bulb onions fell the most in a week. Its average cost decreased from 50.12 to 46.44 rubles per kilogram, or 7.24%. Beets fell by 5.94%, from 46.16 to 43.38 rubles.
A kilogram of carrots by September 21 cost an average of 48.12 rubles against 49.39 rubles a week earlier. Potatoes fell from 52.67 to 51.86 rubles, white cabbage, from 40.92 to 40.33 rubles.
Fruit prices have also decreased. Bananas lost 1.36% and cost an average of 151.94 rubles per kilogram. Apples fell by 0.94% to 147.02 rubles. The price of fresh cucumbers remained virtually unchanged, decreasing by 0.28% to 106.69 rubles.
Otherwise, the tomatoes behaved. During the week, they went up by 2.71%. The average cost of a kilogram increased from 122.97 to 126.20 rubles.
Among meat products, beef added 1.15% and reached 732.06 rubles per kilogram. Chilled and frozen chickens rose in price by 1.05%, to 276.96 rubles. Pork, on the contrary, decreased in price by 0.26%, to 381.96 rubles per kilogram.
From other products, prices for ultra-pasteurized milk, buckwheat, pasta made from premium wheat flour, fruit and berry preserves for baby food, butter, margarine and chicken eggs increased. The increase ranged from 0.25 to 0.91%.
At the same time, canned vegetables and meat for baby food, millet, black tea, sour cream, powdered milk mixtures for children, cottage cheese, sunflower oil, sausages and sausages, sugar, frozen whole fish, cookies and certain types of sausages became cheaper. The most notable decrease in this group was 1.28%.
