What taxes must be paid before December 1

Citizens of the Russian Federation are obliged to complete the payment of property taxes by December 1. As explained by Irina Maslova, who holds the post of Deputy Director General of the Association for the Development of Financial Literacy, we are talking about taxes on real estate, vehicles and land.

According to Maslova, the statutory deadline for individuals to repay property taxes is December 1. This list includes taxes related to the ownership of real estate (such as an apartment, house, garage), as well as the ownership of vehicles (cars, motorcycles) and land.

The expert emphasizes the importance of careful study of the tax notice: the document can summarize the accruals for several types of taxes with different amounts.

In addition, every taxpayer has the opportunity to check their tax liabilities. This can be done by entering the personal account on the official resource of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) or in the mobile application of the service, as well as through the portal "Public Services".
