In the North-Western Interregional Administration advised when walking in the forest to make sounds in advance to warn the animals about their presence.
If you meet a wild boar, do not approach it and do not try to drive away with sticks or stones. Do not shout or make sudden movements. Slowly move away, trying to hold onto trees or bushes and not turn to the animal’s back.
Residents of private houses and cottages near the forest are advised to install fences and not leave food on the plots, so as not to attract wild animals.
Drivers should also be careful: boars can run out onto the road. When meeting them, you need to slow down and let the animals pass.
Earlier we wrote that Kaliningrad residents are waiting for an overcast Saturday with frost and frost on November 7.
