Kaliningrad residents collected 49 tons of waste paper and topped the rating of the all-Russian action
Kaliningrad region has collected more than 49 tons of waste paper in the framework of the all-Russian action “BoomBatl”. Now the region ranks first among subjects with a population of one to one and a half million people.

Kaliningrad region has collected more than 49 tons of waste paper in the framework of the all-Russian action “BoomBatl”. Now the region ranks first among subjects with a population of one to one and a half million people.
The event is held in support of the national project “Environmental well-being”. Its goal is to involve people in separate waste collection and help conserve natural resources.
In early October, residents and schools of Pioneersky and Sovetsk joined in collecting the paper. On October 1, 1, 1,460 kilograms of waste paper were collected in the Pioneer district, and the next day 1,663 kilograms of recyclables were handed over in Sovetsk.
The autumn phase of Boombatl is still ongoing. Kaliningrad residents can contribute to the overall result by passing waste paper for processing.
The Baltic Business Forum gathered 5,000 participants in Kaliningrad.
