The Interregional Territorial Administration of Rostransnadzor in the North-Western Federal District announced a warning to Kaliningradnefteprodukt LLC due to the state of the pedestrian path through the railway crossing on Portovaya Street.
The shortcomings were revealed on October 28 during an on-site survey of the company’s non-public railway track. The inspectors found that the pedestrian path through the crossing does not meet the regulatory requirements for the maintenance of such facilities.
According to the rules, pedestrian crossings through railway tracks must be equipped with flooring, signs and warning inscriptions. In settlements where a road with sidewalks is suitable for moving, the owner of the railway tracks is also obliged to equip a pedestrian path.
On November 2, Rostransnadzor announced a warning to the company. The Agency proposed to bring the relocation and railway infrastructure in proper condition, as well as to ensure their maintenance and repair in accordance with safety requirements.
