In the Kaliningrad Zoo, raccoons were temporarily relocated to an enclosure on the territory of the “House of Old Bears”. At the same place, the overhaul of the Advertising Circle cultural heritage object began.
During the work in the enclosure fence, eight observation glasses will be installed, the inner and outer parts will be repaired and the area around will be landscaped.
The update will make the zoo safer and more convenient for visitors. Animals can be viewed, including small children and guests with limited mobility - without the need to bend over the railing or raise the child above the fence.
The new viewing windows will also help make raccoon observation more comfortable: animals will be able to be at the eye level of visitors, rather than looking at people from above.
Earlier, we wrote that Kaliningrad fifth graders will be introduced to the secrets of the surrounding world.
