The administration of the Ozersky municipal district announced a warning to LLC Kaliningrad Meat Company after identifying car tires stored on the soil of an agricultural plot near the village of Zadorozhye. This is stated on the website of the Prosecutor General of Russia.
Information about the violation came from the submission of the Prosecutor’s office of the Ozersky district on September 22. According to the document, car tires were found on the site, which belong to the waste of the IV hazard class. The land has been owned by the company since March 2020.
At the same time, on October 6, the organization sent a photo report confirming the export of tires. As indicated in the materials, the tires were used as a weighting agent in the storage of feed.
The district administration noted that the storage of such waste on the soil contradicts the requirements of land legislation and poses a threat to the environment. Waste tires should be stored in specially equipped places, separately from other types of waste. Their placement directly on the soil is prohibited.
The warning concerns compliance with the requirements for the use and protection of agricultural land, including the prevention of their pollution by production and consumption waste.
