The Kara Sea has become a new tourist destination in Yamal

In Yamal began to sell tours to the Kara Sea. As the director of the tour operator DiscoverYamal Zelfira Makhmutova told Sever-Press, the route is designed for nine days and will pass through key points of the Polar Urals. The first tourists are ready to go, booking is open.

The coast will be only one part of the expedition: the organizers are betting on the path through the Polar Urals. The trip will take place without communication and the usual digital services.

In 2025, about 20 tourists visited the Kara Sea coast in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Expeditions are scheduled for summer.

Last summer, 81,886 tourists visited Yamal, a third more than a year earlier. Since the beginning of the year, the district has received 215,000 guests.
