Every second woman uses AI for work tasks

More than half of the surveyed residents of the Tula region at least once used neural networks to solve work problems. Such data are given in a joint study hh.ru and “Kontur.Egida”, dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in the work of residents of the region and the Central Federal District.

According to the survey, 54% of respondents have already turned to neural networks in their professional activities. 22% use them regularly, several times a week or more. Another 18% use these tools several times a month, and 14% have tried them only a few times.

Interest in the technology continues to grow: 26% of the study participants do not yet use neural networks at work, but plan to start. Another 20% do not turn to AI and do not intend to do so.

Artificial intelligence is most actively mastered by young specialists. Among respondents aged 18 to 24 years, 70.4% used neural networks for work. In the group from 25 to 34 years, this figure was 57.6%, among respondents from 35 to 44 years — 50.8%. In participants aged 45-54 years, the share was 39.4%, and among people older than 55 years - 34.7%.

The most popular tool was universal text chatbots, including ChatGPT, Claude and DeepSeek. They are used by 71% of respondents who turn to neural networks in their work. 41% of the participants of this group chose Russian solutions.

Specialized tools are less popular. 7% of respondents use AI services for working with tables and data, and 6% use programs for image generation and visualization. Corporate solutions provided by the employer are used by 5%, and specialized AI assistants for engineers were named by 3%.

The main task for which employees use neural networks is the search for information and ideas. This option was chosen by 74% of AI users. In second place was writing and editing texts, letters and messages: this answer was given by 65% of the study participants.

Another 32% use neural networks to analyze documents and large volumes of text. With their help, 28% prepare presentations, reports and other materials, and 22% analyze tables, data and indicators.

Less often, artificial intelligence is used to work with customers - 14%, solve career issues - 12%, write or check software code and prepare for meetings, negotiations and speeches - 11%. Search and verification of regulatory documentation using AI conducted by 10% of respondents.

Quick translation of technical documentation and work with contracts were in demand among 9% of respondents in each case. Another 8% use neural networks to prepare explanatory notes and justifications.

The results of the study show that in the professional activities of residents of the Tula region, artificial intelligence often helps to solve everyday information and text tasks. Specialized methods of application are still much less common.

Earlier, "MK in Tula" wrote about the highest paid vacancies in September in Tula. The list was headed by a pediatrician - the candidate is offered from 126 to 175 thousand rubles.
