Kherson region was invited to join the campaigns for the Day of National Unity

Educational institutions, youth associations and tourist clubs of the Kherson region were offered to organize hikes to the Day of National Unity as part of the All-Russian series “Time of Discoveries”. This was reported in the government of the region.

Routes can be held on November 4 or within three days before or after the holiday. Within a day after the completion of the campaign, the organizers must enter information about it on the project website.

Students, students and families with children can join. Previous experience is not required.

The program recommends to include practical classes on the installation of tents, knitting knots and other basics of tourism. Organizers are also invited to conduct ethnographic mini-expeditions and introduce participants to local folklore and traditions.

The series is part of the project “Trips of the First – More than a journey”, which Rosmolodezh implements together with the “Movement of the First”. Its tasks are to introduce children and young people to the nature, history and culture of their native land and to master tourist skills. National Unity Day will be one of the key dates of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
