Hinstein told the story of a 76-year-old chicken who saved the residents of the DPR

Anatoly Nikolaevich was born in Khomutovsky district, but most of his life he lived in Konstantinovka DPR - he returned to the Kursk region only after the village was liberated by the Russian military.

When Konstantinovka was occupied by the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoly Nikolaevich actually took care of his street, where 22 residents remained. He obtained food and water for them, and by his own admission, stole gasoline and medicine from the enemy. The main thing was to survive and help others, the governor said.

In June 2026, together with comrade Anatoly Nikolayevich, he discovered the body of a deceased Russian soldier. The sky was dotted with drones, it was deadly dangerous to go outside, but the men still betrayed the warrior to the ground. A little later he found two more wounded, transported them to the basement and nursed as best he could.

During the evacuation to Horlivka, Anatoly Nikolayevich decided to reach his brother in Zheleznogorsk, but on the way he was hospitalized: he had shrapnel wounds to his legs after a Ukrainian drone attack. Some of the large fragments were pulled out by neighbors, the rest was taken over by Kursk doctors. The governor assured that such doctors should be rewarded, and promised to continue to do so.

Despite his iron character - and Anatoly Nikolaevich is a master of sports in sambo - talk about returning home comes to him with tears. The day before, he checked out and went to his brother. While the man was in the hospital, the regional Sambo Federation visited him at the request of the governor. "His" master of sports decided to take custody: his experience should become an example for young athletes, and he himself will not be left alone. In the near future, we agreed to hold a meeting with young sambists and a master class.

The governor called Anatoly Nikolayevich an example of the true Russian spirit - the ability to love and respect their country and remain faithful to it, even when someone tries to break this faith.
