Good news from the government: Kostroma in 2027 will be two pension increases

Federal media reported that the Russian government decided to increase pensions for the elderly. And, characteristically, two such pension increases are expected next year.

The first of them all Kostroma pensioners will feel on February 1, 2027, when the basic old-age insurance pension will be increased by the level of actual inflation (which, frankly, is still completely unknown - after all, officially prices in 2026 increased by 6.8%, and unofficially...).

The second increase is scheduled for April 1, and its size is still unknown.
