Cynologists and rescuers worked out the elimination of the consequences of man-made emergency in Naryan-Mar

In Naryan-Mar training of Nenets AKASTS of EMERCOM of Russia on liquidation of consequences of emergency situations of technogenic character took place.

According to the legend of the exercises, people were blocked under the rubble of reinforced concrete slabs. The count went on for minutes, and the duty shift immediately moved to the scene.

The first in the zone of conditional emergency came cynologists. The sharp sense of smell of four-legged rescuers is the main tool when searching for people under multi-ton wreckage, where the human eye is powerless. During the survey of the territory, the cynological calculation unmistakably determined the exact location of the victims and gave a signal to rescuers.

Having received the coordinates, the duty group began to work. Employees carefully dismantled the rubble, unblocked the “wounded”, gave them first aid and evacuated to a safe zone.

The exercises confirmed the high readiness of the Nenets AKASC to act in the conditions of the most complex man-made accidents in the Arctic zone. The team worked smoothly, quickly and professionally.
