Collectors crossed the border: Ulyanovsk citizens have achieved fines for hundreds of thousands of rubles

Residents of the Ulyanovsk region are increasingly complaining about illegal ways of collecting debts. For nine months of 2026, the regional department of the Federal Bailiff Service received 393 appeals from citizens. As a result of supervisory work, the violators paid fines totaling 835 thousand rubles.

As reported in the FSSP of Russia in the Ulyanovsk region, the reason for appeals was the actions of legal entities engaged in the return of overdue debt. We are talking about cases when trying to get money from debtors, organizations use methods that violate the law.

The complaints were checked by the staff. As a result of consideration of appeals to guilty organizations, administrative measures were applied. In total, for nine months, the federal budget received 835 thousand rubles in the form of fines paid.

Control over the activities of collection organizations is within the powers of the Federal Bailiff Service. The Office maintains a special state register and monitors compliance with the requirements of the legislation when collecting overdue debts.

Ulyanovsk residents who are faced with illegal actions of collectors are recommended to contact the competent authorities. A complaint can be sent to bailiffs, the police, the prosecutor's office or Roskomnadzor. Each department considers appeals within its powers.

You can apply to the regional department of the FSSP through the online reception on the official website of the department, send a letter to the address: 432049, Ulyanovsk, Azovskaya Street, 95, or call the helpline 8 (8422) 40-11-17.
