Large-scale modernization of boiler houses continues in Klichev district

Automation, saving resources, reliability of systems and processes, comfort and coziness in homes are indisputable advantages that the modernization of heat management gives. Over the past four years, 7 out of 17 boiler houses have been updated in the Klichevsky district, and by the end of 2026 another significant facility will be introduced - the central boiler house of the city of Klichev. In the future, a unified management system with remote access to the entire district will be created on its basis.

For the boiler house built in 1989 on Pugachev Street, the current modernization was the second in a row. These areas have already undergone a large-scale renovation 20 years ago and, by the way, the first in the Mogilev region were transferred to local fuels – chips. By now, the equipment installed here is morally outdated, and the installed capacity is not enough to service new housing, which is introduced annually in the area.

The modernization of the boiler house began in late May. Along with the upgrade of the equipment, a major repair of the building was also required, so construction is carried out 12 hours a day without a weekend. Every day works are performed from 20 to 50 people, including installers, masons, painters, electricians, heat mechanics. They do everything quickly, efficiently and responsibly, notes the director of the Klichevsky UKP "Zhilkomkhoz" Andrei Matyushonok:

- The central boiler house heats the entire apartment stock in Klichev - about 90 houses. Partly it includes the private sector, as well as all administrative buildings: from the school and hospital to the local police station and the House of Culture. In fact, our boiler room is a strategic object that brings invaluable benefits to people. In the updated form, it will still operate on chips, and if necessary, natural gas will be used as a reserve fuel.

Depending on the air temperature in winter, from 60 to 160 cubic meters of chips are burned on such a boiler house. For comparison: MAZ with a trailer for one flight carries 10 cubic meters. At the same time, chips, the production of which is put on stream in the country, is a profitable alternative to natural gas. Its use has a positive economic effect, reducing the cost of heat production. In addition, biofuels are environmentally friendly.

The undeniable requirement of time is automation. For the updated boiler house, it will become one of the guarantors of safe and uninterrupted operation. In the future, a central control room will be created at the facility, which will remotely manage all equipment. In the meantime, the corresponding system covered a third of all boiler houses in the area, Andrei Matyushonok noted:

- The modernization of the thermal economy of the Klichevsky district will continue next year: a significant object will be the boiler room in the agro-town of Orekhovka, which also serves the largest economy in the region - the state farm Dobrovolets with more than 500 employees.

Mogilev region is actively implementing a program for the construction and modernization of boiler houses: for five years, about fifty updated facilities will be introduced. The modern equipment installed on them and the course for automation of processes will significantly reduce the costs in the production of thermal energy. podolskaya@sb.by
