PhosAgro celebrates its 25th anniversary today

The company was congratulated by the Governor of the Vologda region Georgy Filimonov. The head of the region stressed that the chemical sector is the foundation of the economy of Vologda region and the whole country. The Apatit production complex, located in Cherepovets, is the largest manufacturer of fertilizers based on phosphorus, as well as phosphoric and sulfuric acids in Europe. Thanks to the efforts of employees of this industry, the Cherepovets enterprise holds a leading position in Russia in terms of the volume of phosphate fertilizer production.

PhosAgro is a majority investor in the region, the main payer to the regional budget for corporate income tax. The enterprise cares about people and the development of the Vologda region, together we give a unique example of exemplary public-private partnership, the governor said.

The regional authorities are implementing the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This year, the company allocates over 6 billion rubles for various initiatives. The funds are used to improve public areas, modernize social infrastructure, and support educational and sports programs.
