The main geomagnetic fluctuations in Novosibirsk are predicted for the first half of the day - from 9:00 to 15:00 local time. During this period, the activity index will come close to the level of 5 points. The probability of a full-fledged magnetic storm is estimated by experts at about 26%.
At the same time, serious technological failures in the work of communication systems, navigation and power grids of the city are not predicted, but the general condition of the magnetosphere will remain tense until the end of the day.
Against the background of geomagnetic activity and a sharp cooling, weather-sensitive residents of Novosibirsk may feel a slight malaise. Headaches, migraines, causeless fatigue and sharp jumps in blood pressure are possible.
Doctors recommend citizens this Monday to reduce the level of physical and emotional stress, temporarily give up strong coffee, alcohol and heavy food, as well as carefully monitor blood pressure and maintain water balance.
According to scientists, the geomagnetic background will return to normal in the middle of the week.
