Kostroma Rosgvardeytsy tested their knowledge of ethnography

On November 6, servicemen and employees of the Kostroma Regional Directorate of Regardie became participants of the XI educational international project called “Big Ethnographic Dictation”. This event took place on the territory of all Russian regions and abroad in the period from 3 to 12 November 2026.

Shoulder to shoulder with representatives of related structures and formations, the security forces of the region performed tasks remotely, as well as in person - in the walls of the Kostroma City Library No. 15, where a special platform for the international action was organized.

The dictation is traditionally timed to celebrate the Day of National Unity. The main goals of this large-scale initiative are to popularize the original traditions of the Russian population and determine the degree of awareness of citizens in issues of ethnic culture. In addition, the project contributes to the unity of citizens and the preservation of interethnic harmony in the country.

Examiners were asked to solve a test of 30 all-Russian tasks. After summing up, everyone was handed personalized certificates with scores.

Those gathered in the walls of the 15th library expressed their gratitude to the curators of the local platform. They noted that the event gave a great chance not only to test their own erudition, but also to enrich themselves with interesting information about the ethnic diversity of the state.
