Kostroma passions: a man so stood up for the honor of his wife that he almost killed the offender

The Kostroma Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports on the disclosure of the crime committed on October 9. The investigation began with the fact that on October 10, doctors from the district hospital called the police and told them that they had received a patient with a severe head injury who could not report anything about himself.

The next day, the patient came to his senses and told the criminal investigation officers who visited him that two days ago he had been drinking outdoors with his friend - and in the course of the libation inadvertently spoke disrespectfully about the wife of a drinking partner. He reacted to the insulting words extremely sharply: he became furious so that he punched a friend in the face, sending a drinking partner into a deep knockout. In addition, he fell on the asphalt strongly hit his head - and could have died altogether if compassionate passers-by had not called the victim an ambulance.

Now a criminal case has been initiated against a violent jealous of women's honor under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate infliction of grave harm to health), for the duration of the investigation he was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
