In an interview with journalists, the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko noted that Dazhynki crowns the agricultural year:

The year was stressful, difficult, but worthy. In all the vicissitudes, weather conditions, approaches, I believe that the peasants coped at a high level. And the harvest today is worthy of both grain spikes and rapeseed; it made it possible to ensure the fulfillment of the state order. It made it possible to ensure public animal husbandry in full in order to work calmly in the winter-resting period, to get results.

The region confidently threshed 1.15 million tons of grain of spike and rapeseed oil. And in rapeseed level last year exceeded twice. More than 500 machines removed more than a thousand tons of grain. The best of them exceeded the bar of three thousand tons. The head of the region expressed gratitude to the drivers involved in the transportation of grain, and some warm words addressed to the women who took part in the harvest. And in general, the agricultural sector of the Gomel region is developing confidently, Ivan Krupko stressed:

- The results of eight months of the year indicate that products worth 2.6 billion Belarusian rubles were produced. Today we not only produce, but also process products with dignity. It has been implemented not only inside the country, but also abroad – worth $500 million in 30 countries. This suggests that thanks to the President, the Government of our country, adopted programs for the development of the agro-industrial complex as a whole in the country and in the Gomel region, there is a serious growth in the development of both livestock and crop production. Gomel region for the second year in a row received more than a million tons of bread. This is the pride of the people who have invested their labor, their soul, to get this significant harvest. I am sincerely grateful to every worker, every person who participated in the cleaning.
