Large business showed production in the Kaliningrad colonies

Representatives of a large oilseed processing enterprise visited correctional colonies No. 8 and No. 9 in Kaliningrad. They looked at what they produce in institutions and what products they can produce for business.

The guests met with the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Dmitry Pestov and his deputy Oleg Veliyev, and also visited production shops. The convicts make metal structures, furniture and garments for state and commercial organizations.

UFSIN offered the enterprise to order metal products, soft implements and garment products for its production and infrastructure facilities in the colonies. The parties discussed requirements for goods, possible volumes and delivery.

Following the meeting, representatives of the enterprise and UFSIN agreed to continue negotiations on cooperation. If the contract is concluded, the colonies will be able to increase production, and convicts will have more opportunities to work.
