Crimeans explained how to counter destructive content
The best defense against destructive content is a deep knowledge of your country and its people

The best defense against destructive content is deep knowledge of one’s own country and its people. This was stated on the air of “Radio Crimea” by the acting head of the Interregional Department of FADN for the North Caucasus Federal District, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Ilya Gusev.
According to him, the defensive response to negative stuffing from the outside is not enough, it needs to be supplemented by educational work. In order for the attempts of the ill-wishers to influence the youth to not give the expected effect, it is necessary to talk more about the real practice of interethnic relations in Russia, where a huge experience of peaceful good-neighborliness has been accumulated, as well as a rich cultural heritage and history.
Gusev stressed that understanding one’s own cultural traditions is the main barrier to hostile propaganda narratives. In his opinion, people often know little about those with whom they live for centuries, and the more they know about themselves and their neighbors, the more reliable will be the prevention of destructive content.
