Crimeans explained why you should not be afraid to contact a therapist

Seeing a therapist should not be fearful, as each case involving mental health is unique and requires an individual approach. This was told on the air of the TV channel “Crimea 24” by the main freelance specialist in psychotherapy of the Ministry of Health of the Crimea Vladimir Stroevsky.

According to him, one of the problems remains the stigmatization of everything related to psychiatry and psychotherapy: people are often afraid to ask for help, fearing registration and possible restrictions.

Stroyevsky explained that states are different and each case should be considered separately. Severe mental illnesses may indeed have limitations, but there are also conditions in which there are no limitations.
