Crimeans told how to prepare for the birth of the first child

Women who are expecting a child for the first time, it is important to contact an obstetrician-gynecologist in time and not be afraid of doctors. This was told on the air of Radio Crimea by the chief freelance specialist in obstetrics and gynecology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea Dmitry Beglice.

According to him, it is desirable to register up to 11 weeks, the optimal period he called 9-10 weeks, and it is better to choose a doctor closer to home. Doctors are always on the side of the woman and strive for one result: that the mother and baby were healthy and happy.

Beglice noted that anxiety during pregnancy is quite natural, but you should not succumb to panic, and you should immediately contact doctors for any questions. The obstetrician also supported the father-to-be's involvement in the process: he said partner birth was a big step forward in modern obstetrics. In the maternity hospital where he works, at least 80% of births take place with a partner, and most often the woman is accompanied by future fathers.
