The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services explained who is responsible for the state of the heating system in an apartment with vertical wiring, where risers and radiators are hidden in the walls, and when you need to change heating devices, writes sb.by.

According to the press service of the department, during vertical wiring, the area of responsibility of the operating organization includes pipelines and heating devices of the central heating system in residential and utility rooms.

- According to the Decree of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of May 20, 2013 No. 12 (as amended), the technical condition of the heating system is checked during general inspections twice a year. Elimination of minor malfunctions, including washing of heating devices and elimination of pipeline leaks, is carried out as necessary, the ministry said.

Resolution No. 12 does not establish a mandatory replacement of radiators after a certain period of operation.
