Kubrakov: the slightest attempts to violate public order will be stopped

Under the leadership of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov, the second day of complex command and staff exercises of the Internal Affairs Department of the Gomel region took place. This was reported in the interior Ministry, writes sb.by.

After the theoretical part, Ivan Kubrakov said that all the introductory ones, including those received tonight and in the morning, are aimed at assessing not only the correctness of actions, but also the endurance of the personnel.

- The 7th Separate Police Brigade of Internal Troops was recently inspected. In terms of fitness, 70 percent of fighters received grades of “good” and “excellent.” But there are also unsatisfactory results. No threes! After a month, we will conduct tests again, including in other compounds. Regarding the special forces: the assessments should only be “excellent,” said Ivan Kubrakov.

These demands are not accidental. So, as part of the exercises on one of the unscheduled introductory soldiers of the internal troops moved to block the area where the sabotage and reconnaissance group was located. Attackers blocked traffic, it became impossible to perform tasks on transport. I had to march over a distance of three kilometers in full gear. To do this without proper physical training would be very difficult.

The Minister noted that the readiness of employees to use force, special means, and, if necessary, to use weapons is important. According to him, the main thing is determination.

- Once again, I would like to address the ROVD chiefs. We must feel our presence and our power in all areas. And everyone who has unkind thoughts must understand that the slightest attempts to go out and disrupt public order will be suppressed! We work hard, hard. And if we already use a special unit, a period must be set! – said Ivan Kubrakov.

According to the results of the verification of practical actions under various scenarios of complications of the situation, the Minister of Internal Affairs stressed the inadmissibility of repeating events when attackers rammed combat formations with machines and no one used weapons.

- Today, the law allows us to make decisions based on the situation. Special Forces commanders must act clearly. As in the practice of today's introductory, when the criminals penetrated the rear, he said.

Summing up the results of the command and staff exercises, the minister added:

- Exercises in the Gomel region differed from those held in other regions, a huge load on personnel. There were a lot of different introductory ones, including unscheduled ones, and all worked out great! I am sure that by acting as a single monolith, training and studying the experience of other countries, we will not allow not only mass riots, but also violations of public order in general. It is important to always be one step ahead of the enemy. Thank you for your service.
