The sixth week of the All-Russian course “Shoulder to Shoulder” for the platoon “Pskov leopards” was held under the sign of rallying and studying the cultural heritage of the region.
As part of the program, cadets distributed command posts within the platoon. A clear understanding of their area of responsibility – from commander to standard-bearer – helps children strengthen team interaction and teaches discipline.
On the eve of the Day of National Unity, the pupils of the “VOIN” center went on an excursion to the Seto People’s Estate Museum in the Pechora district. The students got acquainted with the history, life and original traditions of this small Finno-Ugric people. The hospitable staff of the museum met the children according to all canons, treating them to fragrant tea and traditional homemade pie.
Such events play a key role in patriotic education: respect for cultural diversity and knowledge of the history of their small homeland form the basis of this civic position.
