A thematic meeting dedicated to the creative heritage of Fyodor Dostoevsky was held for cadets of the Pskov branch of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia on the eve of the 205th anniversary of the writer’s birth, the university told “MK in Pskov”.
The lecturer was the head of the subscription department of the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Valentin Kurbatov Svetlana Galaktionov. She told about the life and creative path of Dostoevsky, shared interesting facts of his biography and the history of the creation of famous works. The lecturer paid special attention to the events that influenced the formation of the writer’s worldview and were reflected in his books.
The meeting was organized by the women’s council of the Pskov branch of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia together with the Kurbatov Regional Scientific Library.
