The Kursk team performed in the final of the competition “Master of the Year – 2026”

The decisive stage of the All-Russian competition “Master of the Year – 2026” was hosted by Novy Urengoy. 89 finalists from different parts of the country gathered in Yamal – each has its own professional path and achievements.

The Kursk region was represented at this level by a delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the region Irina Stepanova.

Associate professors of the Kursk Institute for the Development of Education Natalia Travkina and Irina Kosterina worked as federal experts on competitive tests. A place in the federal jury is both an honor and a serious burden, and for the region, such experience will be a good impetus to the development of the competitive movement in the SPO system.

The teacher of the Kursk Electromechanical College Valentina Shkurin coped with all the tests and gave an open lesson for students of Novy Urengoy. This is not just a performance, but an exchange of best practices and a chance to show the level of the chickens. You can see the lesson here.
