Kursk postmen congratulate on professional holiday

In the Kursk region, the ninth of October is celebrated World Post Day. The industry of the region employs about two thousand specialists, including a thousand postmen, over 180 operators and 80 drivers.

They provide delivery of parcels, pensions, goods and delivery of correspondence. This is especially important for people living in remote and border areas.

The head of the UFPS of the Kursk region stressed that the postman remains the main link with the outside world. The holiday was established in 1969.
