Kursk University and University of Mexico launch cooperation
Southwestern State University expands international contacts. A new partner may be the Autonomous University of Coahuila from Mexico. The acquaintance began with a teleconference: the staff of SUSU talked with Professor of the Faculty of Systems Dr. Alfredo Puente Flores.

Southwestern State University expands international contacts. A new partner may be the Autonomous University of Coahuila from Mexico. The acquaintance began with a teleconference: the staff of SUSU talked with Professor of the Faculty of Systems Dr. Alfredo Puente Flores.
Alfredo Puente is engaged in research in robotics, autonomous systems and aerospace applications. He was the one who initiated the dialogue. The professor appealed to the Russian Embassy, and there he was recommended to SZSU to discuss academic, scientific and technical cooperation.
From Kursk University, the meeting was attended by Director of the Center for Scientific, Technical and Innovative Cooperation with Ibero-American Countries Nikolai Sergeyevich Frolov, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Space Instrumentation and Radio Electronic Systems named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky Sergey Nikolaevich Frolov, engineer Alexei Nikolaevich Shitov and Dean of the Faculty of Digital Technologies Peter Alekseevich Ryapolov.
At the first meeting, the parties met and discussed scientific and technical cooperation and academic mobility. Following the conversation, further steps were outlined. As N. S. Frolov noted, the main thing now is to determine the areas of joint work.
In addition, representatives of the Kursk University invited colleagues from Mexico to visit the university. We also talked about the possibility of training Mexican students at SZSU and the participation of our teachers and students in joint projects.
