Kuryans told how dangerous caffeine dependence

The Kuryans were told what is dangerous dependence on caffeine. The Russian Ministry of Health has prepared two drafts of updated clinical recommendations for the treatment of mental and behavioral disorders caused by substance use (except for alcohol and nicotine). Caffeine dependence is also included.

According to the agency, such dependence is formed gradually, over many years. Its main signs include the inability to function normally without a morning cup of coffee, headaches when refusing a drink, as well as insomnia. Thus, the withdrawal syndrome with caffeine dependence is real, although it is much weaker than with the use of narcotic substances.
