Kuryans of Lomakin celebrate the 45th anniversary of life together

Ivan and Valentina Lomakina from Kursk celebrated the 45th anniversary of their life together – a sapphire wedding. Their story began with an unexpected meeting: a young paratrooper Ivan came to visit his brother, where Valentine was staying at that time. At first sight, real feelings broke out between them.

Soon the couple had to test their relationship for strength - Ivan was sent to Kharkov for six months. However, separation only strengthened their bond. Realizing that they were created for each other, in 1981 they married, choosing Valentine’s birthday for the celebration.

Since then, the couple have come a long way together, devoting themselves to conscientious work. Ivan Vladimirovich has been working as a dredger driver for more than forty years, and Valentina Nikolaevna gave the same number of years to work in Kurskprombank. Both earned the honorary title of "Veteran of Labor.".

But the most expensive property of Lomakina consider family. They raised their daughter and are now happy and proud to follow the achievements of their beloved granddaughter.
