Kuryanin went to peace with MTS in a dispute over the cell tower
Pristensky District Court of the Kursk Region approved a settlement agreement between the owner of the land plot and the companies of PJSC MTS and Tower Infrastructure Company LLC

The Pristensky District Court of the Kursk Region approved a settlement agreement between the owner of the land plot and the companies of PJSC MTS and Tower Infrastructure Company. The conflict concerned the fate of a cell tower located in the village of Krivtsovo.
As follows from the materials of the case, the plaintiff, who became the owner of the site in August 2025, demanded the dismantling of the 39-meter tower. He argued that the land lease agreement, concluded in 2015 with the previous owner, after the change of ownership was not renewed. The new owner offered to revise the terms of cooperation and increase the rent, but was refused.
In this regard, the plaintiff asked the court to oblige the defendants to disassemble the structure within a month and put the site in order within 40 days. Representatives of MTS objected to the claim, pointing to the high cost of dismantling, which is estimated at several million rubles, and a significant excess of the proposed rent over previous prices.
During the proceedings, the parties reached a compromise. The court approved a settlement agreement, according to which an additional agreement to the current lease agreement will be signed.
According to the new agreements, the monthly fee for the use of land will be 35 thousand rubles. In addition, the plaintiff will receive an additional payment for the period from November 2025 to August 2026, the joint press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region said.
