Workers of the Minsk region ensured leadership among the regions of the republic and proved their professional suitability again. This was stated by the Chairman of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Leonid Zayats today, September 19, during the celebration of grain growers at the regional festival-fair of workers of the village of Minsk region "Dazhynki-2026" in Dzerzhinsk, writes sb.by.

He noted:

- You are a leader in everything, occupying the first place in terms of the development of public livestock, making a significant contribution to the export potential of our country. And today the best of the best workers of the Minsk region gathered here. Today you need to say the warmest words for work, feat, heroism.

- In 1994, we had a very difficult time in our lives. We threshed less than five million tons of bread and experienced a colossal shortage of food. We bought them abroad to survive. After 30 years, we went from deficit to surplus. We have a rich table and successfully sell products outside our country. This would be unthinkable without the support of the President, without the unity of our people, without the hard work of Belarusians.
