Forest Park in Sarov will be landscaped according to the project of Nizhny Novgorod students

The project of students of Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Construction won the XI All-Russian competition of the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements.

The concept of improvement of the forest park “The Way of Knowledge” in Sarov will be implemented next year. For these purposes, a grant of 104.7 million rubles was allocated.

The idea of the park is a philosophical understanding of Sarov’s identity, where science, nature and spirituality intertwine. The space is conceived as a place of choice and becoming of a person and unites four thematic paths. Scientific and educational with the help of interactive and light elements immerses in the world of technology and nuclear energy. The eco-path offers recovery through contact with nature and natural materials. The trail of active recreation is designed for sports, and the path of contemplation and meanings is associated with spiritual heritage and provides opportunities for solitude.
