Last week she visited a cafe on the street. Communist, 7, and was unpleasantly surprised:
Minsk! Gourmet cockroaches. I'm shocked. We had time to eat and at the end we saw. What pills to drink so that there are no health consequences? I'm shocked. The staff did not react to cockroaches in any way, the woman said in a social network and wondered why people write that cockroaches in catering are the norm.
Within a few days, the thread gained about 75 thousand views and more than 150 responses, including from well-known bloggers. Despite the criticism of the institution by the author, many in the comments with humor reacted to the unpleasant fact and acknowledged that in most points of catering live such insects.
Specialists of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Central District checked the cafe on October 2 and found no insects in public areas, in production and storage facilities. At the same time, single individuals of cockroaches in traps were noted. At the same time, the frequency of disinsection and deratization measures at the facility is observed.
- Other violations of the requirements of the legislation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population were revealed. An administrative process has been initiated against the responsible official of TIFANI LLC, the experts concluded.
Two Minsk residents told about the larvae found in the product of lavash from the restaurant Papa Doner and chocolate from Kommunarka.
Information about the first fact appeared in the public on September 28, when at the catering point on pr. Independence 56a, one of the visitors was sold a shawarma with a larva.
The next day, the restaurant checked the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Soviet District, but the specialists did not establish insects and traces of their vital activity. At the same time, the management of Global Retail LLC was sent a letter about the need for extraordinary general cleaning with subsequent disinsection, strengthening internal production control over the quality of products sold. Also, an explanatory conversation was held with the staff of the facility on compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare, including technologies for processing vegetables and greens.
“Communarka surprise. In the chocolate bar (shelf life up to 4.02.2027) was found a large moth larva. How do you like such a gift? the user of Threads showed the insect.

In the comments with the author immediately contacted the representative of the manufacturer to understand the situation.
“Dark chocolate with the filling of “Truffle” 90 g (date of manufacture 4.02.2026) was produced in the amount of 3 571.2 kg and sold both in the branded retail facilities of JSC “Kommunarka”, and to other trade organizations (major shopping centers, republican networks, etc.), as well as for export,” the factory said. This chocolate has been absent from our warehouses since 29.05.2026 (i.e. more than four months). There were no complaints about the quality of these products from individuals and retail facilities.
The presence of larvae indicates that the infection of chocolate occurred no more than a month ago, and therefore not in production. The probable causes of contamination of the product by pests could be a violation of their storage conditions, non-observance of commodity neighborhood - the presence near the sources of potential contamination of pests of food stocks (flour, cereals, nuts, dried fruits, etc.). At the same time, any types of packaging (paper, film, cardboard), except metal, are not a barrier to pests; when visually inspected, violations of the integrity of the package may be invisible.
Another complaint in Threads concerns low-quality products in one of the points of the Komarovsk market.
“Minsk Komarovsk market, place 32. The fraudster in Sizova LLC sells spoiled goods, wrapping it firmly, the woman said, but later removed the branch.

By the way, the author could change his mind to leave a complaint on the Internet by making a comment from another user, who drew attention to the accusatory statement of the woman.
“I hope you are aware that the girl from the place 32 has every right to sue you, and if you do not prove that she was previously involved in 209 criminal code of the Republic of Belarus (fraud), you are waiting for exciting adventures...”.
Despite the remote branch, trading place No. 32 of Sizova LLC was checked on October 6 by specialists of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Soviet District.
Facts of circulation of products without labeling and with violations of storage conditions have been established. As a result, measures were taken in accordance with the legislation, and an explanatory conversation was held with the management and employees of the facility, the hygienists specified.
