Lipchan warned against references with proposals to issue a loan

Fraudsters send out links offering to help get a loan even to people with poor credit history. According to TASS, citing materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the transition to such links can lead to the installation of a fake banking application and loss of control over the phone.

After clicking on the link, the user is asked to enter bank card data and fill out a questionnaire. The installed program gives attackers remote access to the device, and the information obtained can be used to process debts in the name of the victim.

Residents of the Lipetsk region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs advises not to follow the instructions of unknown persons and not to follow dubious links with promises to help get a loan.
