The practice of the Lipetsk region to return historical estates to cultural and tourist circulation is included in the White Paper of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. This collection brings together the best regional developments in the development of competition, the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the region reported.
FAS has been conducting the White Paper since 2014. Its task is to encourage conscientious and effective practices of the authorities, stimulating socially responsible and legal behavior at the regional and municipal levels.
Lipetsk management accompanies projects in which architectural monuments become part of modern life. The key principle of this work is to preserve the true appearance of buildings and at the same time open up new opportunities for the territories. The estates act as venues for festival events, points of tourist routes and centers of local identity.
The impact of the approach is measurable: the tourist flow is growing, jobs are emerging, local business is strengthening. Thus, the preservation of cultural heritage turns into a contribution to the culture and economy of the region.
