Lipetsk pensioner was returned money stolen by fraudsters

Lipetsk 63-year-old pensioner returned 175 thousand rubles, which he stole fraudsters. The money of an elderly man, a resident of the Yelets district, lost in July 2025. He was tricked by phone scammers into transferring funds to a “safe account.”.

According to the Prosecutor’s office of the Lipetsk region, the police managed to find the owner of the number tied to the card – it was there that the pensioner transferred the money. He was a resident of St. Petersburg.

The prosecutor filed a lawsuit. As a result, money was collected from a resident of the Northern capital.
