Lukashenko: Belarus, Mongolia agree on serious cooperation

The presidents of Belarus and Mongolia agreed on how to develop relations between the two countries in the future. The head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko made a corresponding statement at official talks in narrow format with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh in Minsk on October 26, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.

According to Alexander Lukashenko, the parties did not waste time during the informal meeting: the current state of affairs in relations was discussed for three hours and an attempt was made to draw a roadmap for cooperation.

- In short, we agreed that we should start cooperation in a serious way. And in order to build a good building, you need a strong foundation. We decided to start with three good concrete projects that would form the basis of our cooperation, the BelTA President said.

Ah. Lukashenko stressed that the people of the two countries should first of all feel the effect of such projects – they should understand that the parties are serious about cooperation.

The head of state recalled that two years ago, during his visit to Ulaanbaatar, the first major official steps in bilateral cooperation were taken. The current visit of the Mongolian leader to Belarus will go down in history by the fact that the parties will form a cooperation plan.

At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus has a number of advanced powerful technologies and areas of development that Mongolia needs.

- We agreed that if you like something from the set of these technologies and directions of our development and it will be necessary for our friendly country, we are ready to cooperate in this direction and outline the two or three projects I mentioned. Yesterday we agreed in a friendly manner with you that you can try everything that interests you in Belarus, touch your hands and make the appropriate decision, if you like it.

- You have to understand that all doors are open for you. Please, look, draw conclusions, take on arms. We will help you to fulfill all the planned programs and fulfill the promises you made in the last election campaign in Mongolia, the Head of State stressed.

He also assured that Belarus, if agreements are reached, will be unconditionally committed to their implementation.

- We are human beings and we will fulfill our obligations on time and on time. We would like our Mongolian friends to act in this way. In fulfilling our part of the obligations, we will not invoke difficulties or difficulties. That is why we exist to overcome these difficulties. They always were and always will be. It could be even harder than it is now. Therefore, overcoming these difficulties, it is necessary to go forward, it is necessary to fulfill the agreements, Alexander Lukashenko concluded.
