Lukashenko demanded the results of scientists in ensuring the security of the country
Scientists in matters of ensuring the security of the state need a concrete result, not promises to do something.

Scientists in matters of state security need concrete results, not promises to do something in the future. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this during a working trip to the Minsk region when visiting the test site of the GNU “Institute of Powder Metallurgy named after Academician O.V. Roman”, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
The President was informed about promising developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus aimed at strengthening technological sovereignty. Scientists also work for the civilian sector: for example, they produce industrial explosives that are in demand in geological exploration and in the development of quarries.
In the military sphere, Alexander Lukashenko called one of the urgent tasks to “zero drones” – to develop means that will guarantee and effectively combat them.
- We need results, said Alexander Lukashenko. — In preparation for this trip, I thought that Vladimir Stepanovich (Chairman of the NAS Presidium Vladimir Karanik). For the first time, not only me, but also the people will report on their success in ensuring the security of the state. It shouldn't be another fairy tale that we'll do something tomorrow.
The development of new means of combating drones and improving the drones themselves is not the only direction in which the state expects serious results from the scientific sphere, and all these works require serious funding.
Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Pavel Muraveyko reported that the tasks set for scientists are being solved.
- So we slice the problem: go, decide. And every six months to control, — said the head of state. These conversations are not needed by anyone. We set serious and extraordinary tasks for the military. It is necessary to solve the tasks that need to be solved immediately. There will be no other tasks. We don't need scientists who walk around telling stories.
During the visit to the test site, the President of Belarus was also shown unmanned aerial vehicles, tests of high-energy explosives, protected vehicles, armor and special equipment, means of detecting, tracking and destroying UAVs.
