Lukashenko: rural workers of Gomel region always prove their professionalism

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the participants and guests of the regional festival-fair "Dazhynki-2026" in Kalinkovichi, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti" with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

- Today, at the regional festival-fair, we proudly honor the rural workers of the Gomel region, who always prove their professionalism. And the current suffering is no exception: over a million tons of grain have been threshed, taking into account rapeseed, the message of congratulations reads.

According to the Head of State, the difficult Polesie climate requires farmers not only knowledge, experience, but also a special approach to each field.

- You are not afraid of difficulties: you increase the production of grain crops, master new directions in crop production, introduce innovative technologies. All this is a significant contribution to the food security of the country and the strengthening of its economy, as well as a strategic foundation for the future, Alexander Lukashenko said.

The President thanked everyone who works in fields and elevators, spends a working day driving combine harvesters and trucks, who manages production processes and performs scientific research, for their loyalty to the land-breadwinner, for their responsibility to their native land and the whole of Belarus.

“I am convinced that in the future you will effectively fulfill all the tasks facing the agro-industrial complex of the Gomel region,” the Belarusian leader said.

The Head of State wished farmers and all participants of the holiday good health, family well-being, prosperity and confidence in the future.
