Interest in theatre is growing again, including among young people. About this on the air of the program "Markov". Nothing personal" on ONT told the Director of the Republican theater of Belarusian drama Svetlana Naumenko, writes sb.by.

A guest of the program suggested that people are tired of communicating with the screen:

- Computer, telephone, television... And man needs a man. And the audience goes to the theater for high energy. He wants to see a live person on stage here and now. It's very important.

Since the end of 2024, 7 premieres have appeared in the theater, the repertoire has been updated by almost 40%.

- Each of our premieres is a breakthrough and sales. The interest of the audience is very high, said Svetlana Naumenko.

Among the performances, which have already been shown many times and have become a notable event, are “Ladja Spachy”, “Kham”, “Paminal Minute”, “Zaruchyn”, “I, Grandma, Iliko and Ilaryen”. Some of them go on the stage of the House of Officers and the House of Trade Unions to accommodate all comers.

- We are very grateful to the leaders of these organizations for their gentle and respectful attitude towards us. We are always waiting there, she added.
