False brokers deceived Ukhtin more than 7 million rubles
a 50-year-old local resident fell for the tricks of scammers.

A 50-year-old resident of Ukhta became the victim of scammers who acted remotely. For three months, he conducted correspondence in the messenger with a person who introduced himself as an “investment manager”. As a result, he installed fake trading applications, started a cryptocurrency wallet and invested over 7 million rubles. At the same time, 2.5 million were his personal savings, and the rest was received on credit.
At first, the man even managed to withdraw 20 thousand rubles as a profit. However, when his “curator” began to insist on depositing new large sums to withdraw funds, he realized that he was a victim of fraud and turned to law enforcement.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article on fraud on an especially large scale.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remind that offers of quick and easy earnings are tricks of scammers. Before making any investment, it is necessary to make sure that the broker has a Central Bank license.
