IAEA reported attacks on facilities near ZNPP over the past two weeks

The International Atomic Energy Agency has received information about several drone attacks on facilities near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press release of the agency.

According to the IAEA, on September 19, 20 and 27, attacks were carried out on the Zaporozhye TPP. There damaged transformers, which are important for external power supply ZNPP. Also on September 22, a radiation monitoring station outside the nuclear power plant was damaged.

Several more attacks occurred on Energodar. As a result, one person died.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi is negotiating a new local ceasefire. He called for an immediate halt to attacks that threaten nuclear security.
