Magnetic storm will cover Voronezh in the morning of October 12

At the beginning of the working week, geomagnetic disturbances are expected in the Voronezh region, which in intensity will be slightly lower than the average level of a magnetic storm. This was reported by specialists of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory IKI and ISZF SB RAS.

The strongest disturbances are predicted on Monday, October 12, from 06:00 to 09:00. From 03:00 to 06:00 and from 09:00 to 12:00, geomagnetic activity will correspond to a level above G1. By 15:00, the magnetosphere should return to a calm state.

According to preliminary calculations of scientists, in late October, new geomagnetic disturbances are expected on October 21 and 22. Magnetic storm level G1 is also predicted on October 31.

Experts note that geomagnetic storms can be accompanied by deterioration of health in some people. In particular, headache, weakness and sleep disorders are possible. At the same time, the connection of such symptoms with magnetic storms is not considered unequivocally proven. It is important for people with chronic diseases to continue the prescribed treatment and focus on the recommendations of the doctor.
