Magnetic storm level G2 will cover Saratov on October 9
Coming to Earth magnetic storm level G2 will cause moderate geomagnetic disturbances failures in technology and auroras on Friday 9 October

An approaching G2-level magnetic storm will cause moderate geomagnetic disturbances and auroras on Friday, October 9. This is reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory IKI and ISZF. The cause of the cosmic phenomenon was a plasma clot, which the Sun ejected into outer space in the afternoon of October 6. According to experts, the upcoming impact on the Earth’s magnetosphere will launch a standard space weather cycle, but all processes will take place in a relatively soft format.
In Saratov, the onset of the geomagnetic storm is predicted at about 7:00 local time, and the maximum intensity is expected between 12:00 and 17:00. Such power can cause problems in industrial power supply, worsen the quality of navigation systems and disrupt short-wave communication. There is still no scientific confirmation of the impact of such phenomena on the human body, but there is an opinion among the population that storms cause insomnia, pulse jumps, migraines, unreasonable fear and loss of balance.
Stabilization of the geomagnetic background of the planet is predicted closer to 6:00 on Saturday, October 10.
