Magnetic storms: Novosibirsk described the geomagnetic situation on September 21
Monday, September 21, will be held under the sign of a calm and stable geomagnetic field, no dangerous space storms are expected

According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory, the probability of any significant magnetic storm on this day is estimated as extremely low. Our planet is in a phase of relative interplanetary lull, thanks to which the magnetosphere “rests” after the previous bursts of activity recorded in the middle of the month.
Throughout the day, the geomagnetic index Kp will range from 1 to 2 points, which on the international scale is classified as a completely calm or slightly disturbed background. Novosibirsk is geographically located in the middle latitudes, where such minimal fluctuations are absolutely imperceptible to the vast majority of people. Only in the early morning and in the morning, short-term and minor local deviations are possible, but by the evening the situation will finally stabilize and go into a state of stable geomagnetic calm.
Experts note that if weather-dependent Novosibirsk and feel a slight malaise, drowsiness or loss of strength this Monday, it is not necessary to associate it with space - most likely, this is the body's reaction to the change of weather fronts and rains that came to the city. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to relax for a long time: according to preliminary forecasts of astrophysicists, the next wave of solar activity and a moderate magnetic storm of the Kp=5 level (G1 class) are expected in the Novosibirsk region near the end of the week, in the period from 24 to 26 September.
In order to easily tolerate any changes in space weather, experts advise to adhere to simple rules: observe a sleep regime, reduce caffeine intake, drink more clean water and temporarily limit heavy physical activity.
