On October 7, the Day of Moscow Industry, employees of the capital’s industrial sector were awarded. Details were announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov and Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated Muscovites on the Day of Moscow Industry.
Today, more than 767 thousand people are employed in the industrial sector - this is every tenth working resident of the capital. It is the personnel reserve that is the basis for growth, competitiveness and prosperity not only of an individual industrial company, but also of the urban economy as a whole, commented Maxim Liksutov.
The title “Honorary Worker of Industry of the City of Moscow” was awarded to: engineer-technologist of “Mikron” Irina Selivanova, turner of “Heliymash” Vladimir Kulabukhov, operator of “EXTRA M” Nadezhda Gusleva, head of the “Endopharm” vivarium Tatiana Pavlova, head of the development department of “ANKAD” Ivan Volvakov and head of the design bureau of NPO “Science” Vladimir Chizhikov.
Every year we celebrate the achievements of Moscow factories and high-tech enterprises, which make a significant contribution to ensuring the technological sovereignty of the capital and the country as a whole. In 2026, 14 companies became laureates of the Moscow Industry Leaders Award, including residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, Garbuzov said.
